Two-level tuning and walking in place

Eleven high-level controls over the parameters, and a mode to walk in place while tuning.

With more than a hundred parameters, tuning the gait by hand was slow. I added a layer of basic controls: eleven high-level settings (rhythm, stride, step height, knees, sway, arm swing, lean, looseness, responsiveness, naturalness and intensity), each moving several parameters at once. Hand-tuned values still win on top.

To see the effect without the character leaving the frame, I added shiftOrigin: it moves the character and all its state without changing its motion. In the demo the floor grid works as a treadmill, and it also serves as a floating origin in large worlds.

The demo became an instrument panel, in graphite and amber, with telemetry and collapsible panels.
