First test with Gaussian Splatting and Three.js

A crocheted dinosaur, reconstructed with COLMAP and gsplat, with an inner light and a deformation that pulses with it.

First test with Gaussian Splatting + Three.js.

I reconstructed a crocheted dinosaur with COLMAP and gsplat, from photos taken with my phone. Then I modified the viewer's shaders to add an inner light and a small deformation synced to that light's pulse.

It is a fairly simple test, but it opens up a lot of possibilities: since every Gaussian can be reached from the shader, the model stops being a static capture and can be lit, animated or deformed.
